Contract Administrator Assistant

Job Summary:

The primary duties will be, but are not limited to, assist project contract administrator with setting up projects, project cost & accounting, purchase orders, subcontracts and contracts and other essential duties. Coordination with all administration, project managers & site superintendents, sales, and vendors related to projects. Consistently be able to portray a positive and flexible “can-do” attitude as a member of the MLS team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Normal work hours are 8:00AM-5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday.
• Employee will report to the Contract Administrator.
• Assist contract administrator in developing accurate cost accounting for assigned construction and equipment projects being implemented by MLS.
• Research and investigate inventory cost issue that our outside of budget parameters.
• Following up on vendor and customer information related to projects or invoices that require research clarification.
• Accurately invoicing customers for construction contracts.
• Assist in receiving inventory as assigned.
• Assist in receiving invoices in accounts payable when assigned.
• Assist in preparing payments/ACH to vendors as assigned.
• Assist in balancing vendor statement to our vendor balance and inquire on any differences as assigned.
• Asist with office special projects as assigned.
• Work with all MLS location/branches to properly cost account and pay vendors.
• Forward thinking in planning and laying out and organizing the work that need to be completed to assist with the contract administrator in determining priorities.

Qualifications (Skills Required)

· Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Acumatica, ADP time entry are helpful)

· Organization skills and detail-oriented mindset.

· Positive attitude at all times.

· Team oriented personality.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 25 lbs.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• Beatrice, NE 68310: Relocate before starting work (Required)
