Analysts are responsible for maintaining all functions of inventory control in their assigned areas. An analyst is also responsible for maintaining the highest possible turns and in-stock position possible.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gross Profit Margin
Assist the Buyer in attaining the highest sales and gross margin dollars
Inventory
Assist the Buyer in inventory control, including inventory balancing and stock reductions to ensure maximum turn and in-stock position
Advertised Items
An analyst will ensure the accuracy of the stock status and anticipated needs of merchandise to be advertised
Administrative Accuracy
Ensure accuracy on vendor order guides, purchase orders, letters, and plant inventory counts.
Replenishment
Assist the Buyer in replenishment of merchandise efficiently
Responsibility
In addition to the functions outlined above, the Buyer or General Plant Manager may assign additional job duties throughout the year. Analysts are also responsible for passing on useful information when they notice problems developing in other areas.
Degree in a business related field such as Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Finance, or Mathematics OR equivalent of two years of store/retail experience
General computer knowledge with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Must be able to work full-time with the ability to put in overtime
