Medical Record Clerk

Medical Records Release of Information Clerk needed to do Copy & Release of Medical Records at our location in Bay City, MI. Good Data Entry Skills and Excellent Customer Service Skills Required. Prior experience working with Medical Records or in a Medical Office helpful, but not required for this position.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.

THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Screening and entering Mail
Verifying that release has proper authorization and follows HIPAA guidelines
Scanning/Copying of medical records
Assisting patients/ walk-ins
Answering phone calls
Invoicing and mailing records as requested
Verify the accuracy and quality of reproduced work and data entry prior to providing information to the requestor
Perform other duties as assigned.

MUST BE COVID-19 VACCINATED AND HAVE RECEIVED THE FLU SHOT

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
