Description

Responsible for all day-to-day activities performed in the quality control department

Requirements

Essential Functions:

  1. Review approval inspection of manufacturing area and processes.
  2. Review pre-production part approval (PPAP) process for all new programs
  3. Review and approve incoming inspection and control plans.
  4. Monitor production process and identify QA needs
  5. Oversee all internal and external nonconformance issues
  6. Oversee all corrective actions for suppliers and customers
  7. Approve work instructions for quality alerts

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Compliance and understanding of ISO 14001:2015 by participating in the annual EMS training on environmental aspects and their impacts.
  2. Compliance and understanding of IATF-16949 by participating in the annual training.
  3. Compliance and understanding of safety rules and regulations by participating in annual training.

Education, Experience, and Competencies

  1. Bachelor’s degree is preferred or commensurate experience in quality control
  2. Strong verbal, written and computer skills such as email management, excel, outlook, etc.
  3. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be levelheaded and able work with others.
  4. Ability to lead, motivate, select, train and instruct personnel.
