Armed security officer

Midwest Security Forces is looking for experienced applicants to fill immediate Unarmed Flex Security Officer positions in Northwest Indiana.

We have 1 full-time position available. This candidate would travel between 4 different job sites located throughout the Northwest Indiana Area, Gary, East Chicago, and South Bend.

General Security responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• He / she must be customer service oriented
• The successful candidate will pay close attention to detail
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must have good communication skills
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• The ability to work within a team environment
• Must consistently maintain a well groomed appearance and hygiene

Qualifications

• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law.
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Security Officer experience a plus
• Must have a valid drivers license with clean driving history (only for jobs which require driving)
• Must have reliable means of transportation
• Must be able to pass drug screening
• Must be able to pass background check
