SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The Sales Representative role is broken into 3 functional areas:

1 - Prospecting, outbound calling, self-generating leads via canvassing and networking, performing property inspections (which often requires a physical inspection of the customer’s roof and attic), contingency and/or service agreements, assisting property owners in the insurance claim process, where applicable.

2 - Meeting insurance adjusters, scoping the project, create a formal outline that outline work/damages with the insurance company, formally contracting the job with property owners.

3 - Estimating and supplementing, earning a variety of advanced roofing systems, and how to sell and estimate other relevant exterior and interior trades (siding, gutters, windows, paint, as well as other interior related trades/if applicable).

Other Responsibilities:

· Provide accurate information, changes, feedback on customers, leads and other relevant information to the company, the company CRM, Sales Managers, Coordinators, Field Trainers, and the Owner.

· Participate in company safety meetings, sales meetings, or training meetings to advance any necessary learning/training to improve as a Sales Associate.

· Learn Mighty Dog Roofing University Virtual Training Platform. This training is key to your long-term success as an industry Sales Associate.

· Keep production and accounts receivable department aware of any changes in your jobs, or customer demands, change orders, or other pertinent information.

· Ensure jobs sold and contacted achieve a minimum gross profit margin of 30%

· Turn in pay requests on time per the Company pay request/payroll schedule.

· Maintain a positive attitude and customer centric approach.

· Leads will be provided, but will supplement self-generated activity.

· Achieve a minimum of $100,000 in monthly contracted sales, that is actual jobs turned into build (during the peak selling months of March to November).

· Minimum monthly threshold would equate to approximately $1.2M in revenue in a calendar year.

Work Environment:

Mighty Dog Roofing’s Sales role will be responsible for a variety of both on-site projects and office-related tasks. This role will report directly to the General Manager.

Position Type/Expected hours worked:

This is a full-time position; some on-site projects are likely to require early mornings and late afternoons beyond a typical ‘9 to 5’ job. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required.

Perks:

· Compensation will be contingent upon the candidate’s experience

· W2 and 1099 positions are available. A successful candidate will often exceed $100,000 annually.

· Work from home flexibility for administrative functions is available after training/introductory period, based on performance and competencies.

· Paid training will be provided
