The Columbus Engine Center (CEC) is looking for your high-energy, motivation and dedication.

As the Engineering Manager for the Military Center of Excellence, (MECoE), operations, you will be a key member of the leadership team for both F100 and F117 Operations. You will and responsible for ensuring robust standard work and execution of contractual requirements through the following activities listed below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Process and Powerplant engineers to achieve the commitments of both the F100 and F117 program.
  • Workscope development which includes definition of incoming and outgoing part number and configuration, applicable Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO's), F117 Service Bulletins, scheduled overhaul requirements and specific customer requirements
  • Accurate process plan creation and maintenance in Solumina G8
  • Collaboration with bench inspectors (BX) to disposition removed hardware
  • Engine record review and revision
  • Module configuration management in SAP
  • Actively participate on the AMO Solumina team to support the continued development of Solumina G8
  • Identify and lead process improvements to improve lead time and quality
  • Partner with our P&W Military Engines Customers which includes Program Management, Logistics Program Management and Contracts organizations for both the F117 and F100
  • Facilitation of performance reviews for our internal customers and partners
  • Build key relationships with both our internal / external customers and USAF
  • Collaborate with local DCMA on the F100 product line
  • Participate in Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S), CORE, International Trade Compliance (ITC), and diversity initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree with a minimum of 10 years' experience in aviation
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Aerospace or Engineering)
  • Knowledge of USAF Technical Orders or similar engine maintenance manuals
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Government Contracting
  • Ability to work directly with P&W Military Engines Engineering, F100 Program, Eagle Supply, and F117 Programs
  • Working experience with SAP and Solumina G8
