Your main tasks
The Scheduler/Planner is responsible in supporting procurement, inventory, machine shop and project teams during design, assembly and debug phases of Mikron projects. Another key function of this role is to support company goals, values, and operating principles.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Forecasting for stocked parts and Standard factory quarterly ocean shipment from parent company

Forecasting high volume raw materials

Intercompany parts availability checks

Participate in scheduled meetings to align production schedule with component availability to support build schedule

Collaborate with Expeditor to ensure parts availability to meet schedule
-
Coordinate with inventory team to have parts pulled to support schedule

Proactively communicate potential deviation to schedule to project team and management
-
Release production orders for internal sub-assemblies and project debug needs.

Maintain accurate schedule in SAP for production order completion

Communicate upcoming release schedules/work volume

Collaborate with management for capacity planning in the machine shop

Create work orders for internal machine shop

Maintain accurate WO dates in SAP system
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge, & Skills
-
BS degree in operations management or supply chain or other relevant field, or internationally recognized equivalent
-
2-3 years of relevant working experience

Proficient in Microsoft suite. Excel, Power Point, Word (Preferred)

Experience with SAP ERP systems (Preferred)

Follow all safety policies, precautions, and procedures

Follow department working instructions from manager

Follow daily work activities defined by supervisor

Timely participation in meetings
-
Perform critical tasks of the role satisfactorily within 6 months of hire date with little or no supervision

Ability to Multi-task. Be able to handle multiple projects at the same time, and be able to self-manage time constraints

Travel up to 25%

Must be able to travel as requested internationally

Must be available to work overtime

May be required to work off shift hours and Holidays

Must have a valid state Driver license
