Quality Control Specialist II

We're looking for a qualified Tooling Inspector to join our Quality Team in Mt. Orab, OH. This role inspects Barrels, Screws & other individual parts following detail drawings, layouts, and other written and verbal specifications for quality and compliance. This role is a great start for those seeking to get their start into manufacturing quality!

Work You'll Do:

• Inspect and ship one or multiple of the following: Barrels, Screws, Tooling and detail parts.
• Perform packaging and shipping duties.
• Conduct final part inspections.
• Assist with in-process inspections.
• Complete and maintain quality charts/records for management.
• Communicate directly with team members to resolve quality issues.
• Train/guide associates and customers.

Team:

This role will be a part of the Mt. Orab Machining Quality Team and will report to the Quality Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with or 2 plus years related experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent from a 2-year technical school in machining or engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates degree or equivalent from a 2-year technical school in machining or engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
• Have extensive knowledge of OSS and option requirements.
• Working knowledge of OSHA machine safety signs.
