Milestone Project Services is currently seeking a General Planner to join our team.

Location: Offshore GOM
Work Environment: On-site office
Physical Demands: Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Rotational schedule
Essential Functions:
- Primary interface with Client and Contractor.
- Plans and executes the schedule control requirements for projects with guidance. Responsible for providing schedule planning and maintenance. Assists in the development and implementation of Work Breakdown, Scheduling, and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work defined by the contract.
- Manages resources and integrated activities.
- Independently performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard scheduling techniques.
- Interfaces and coordinates with internal and external clients as required for successful project execution.
- Analyzes schedule trend variations and informs project management of potential problem areas. Recommends solutions or recovery plans to mitigate schedule impact or delay.
- Prepares and analyzes schedule status reports.is.se.
Requirements:
- 3-10 years P6 experience, understanding of: resource leveling, sequencing, group and sort options, bar chart options, filter utilization, customizing layouts and or reports, histograms, tracking, resource assignments, duration types, completion percentage calculations and applications
- Skilled in transferring P6 data to Excel and customizing to meet client needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate
- Attention to detail
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
