Covestic is looking for a Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with Workday HCM implementation and configuration experience, specifically in the human capital management areas. This role is part of a team responsible for replacing the legacy HCM platform with Workday and will work closely with the client’s HR stakeholders. In addition to gathering stakeholder requirements and configuring platform functionality and workflows, the BSA is involved in acceptance testing, training end users, and supporting the rollout across the organization. This position requires a senior resource with recent Workday HCM implementation experience.

How You Will Make An Impact:
- Capture and understand the human capital management business requirements associated with the Workday project
- Identify application workflow and configuration changes needed to meet the business requirements
- Work closely with implementation partners to translate business requirements into functional workflows
- Make configuration changes within the Workday platform
- Work closely with 3rd party implementation partners to translate business requirements into functional workflows, validate data migrated from the legacy platform to workday, and ensure necessary integrations between Workday and up and downstream applications are enabled and functioning properly (e.g., Workday-HRIS)
- Collect and enter reference data needed to set up Workday
- Get stakeholder buy-off on application functionality, workflow, and data configuration
- Support acceptance testing to validate that the application meets the business requirements
- Investigate, prioritize, and resolve defects found by testing
- Help create training guides, job aides, and process flows for training end users on how to use the Workday application
- Help train end users on new application functionality
- Support go-live and rollout of Workday application across the organization
Act as the point of contact and functional SME for all HCM functionality within Workday
What You Will Need To Succeed:
- Minimum of 2 or more recent Workday implementation projects
- Minimum 1 years of recent experience with HCM, ideally integrated with Workday
- Minimum 5 years of software project delivery experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a BSA and/or Functional Systems Analyst
- Strong understanding for common HCM workflows within Workday (e.g., HRIS, Benefits, Talent Management, Workforce Planning, Payroll, Time Tracking)
- Excellent at requirements elicitation and translating business requirements into application workflows and user stories
- Efficient organizational skills
- Able to think on your feet and not get flustered or frustrated by challenges
- Effective communication and facilitation skills
- 4 year degree
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience as the Lead BSA or Functional Lead on a Workday Project
Salary : $65 - $75
