We are looking for an energetic and highly-motivated EFDA who is passionate about helping people solve problems and improve their lives to join our team at Milford Pediatric Dentistry!

We are seeking an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and dental procedures, ensuring the highest level of service and patient satisfaction. Applicants should have a minimum of 1-year dental assisting experience and should be x-ray certified and maintain CPR certification

Responsibilities:

- Perform chairside assisting duties during dental procedures
- Conduct patient assessments and assist with treatment planning
- Utilize knowledge of medical coding for accurate billing
- Maintain electronic health records using systems like Epic or Dentrix
- Apply aseptic techniques to ensure infection control
- Take X-rays and assist with pediatric dental procedures

Skills:

- Proficient in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Familiarity with medical coding for billing purposes
- Experience with electronic health record systems like Epic or Dentrix
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Ability to perform X-rays and assist with pediatric dental procedures

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
