Leading a high-performing team to complete tasks, you will have overall responsibility for all aspects of store operations, including inventory-related processes, merchandise resets, and pricing compliance. If all of this sounds interesting, you’ll be tasked with accomplishing these goals by:
- Responsible for ensuring the physical inventory matches the system inventory
- Audit the SOR process in accordance with the Return of Sale SOP.
- Audit the SRR process in accordance with the Return of Sale SOP for Voids
- Audit the RTV process to ensure RTV’s are being processed per SOP.
- Research inventory and determine inventory discrepancies
- Process inventory controls such as return to vendor/return to warehouse
- Ensure back of house operations and delivery processes are consistent with company policies and standards to maintain stock levels
- Respond quickly to store requests and concerns
- Follow the daily cycle count and category review calendar.
- Conduct cycle counting, inventory checks, and load quality assurance
- Research all inventory-related discrepancies and make appropriate adjustments in the inventory system
- Track excessive inventory adjustments and maintain accurate records of all reports and data collected
- Review receiving documents for accuracy
- Bring to the attention of the warehouse manager immediately any discrepancies noticed in tagging or SKUing of merchandise
- Maintain a high level of communication with stores and Warehouse Manager to effectively resolve inventory issues
- Assist shipping/receiving, unloading trucks, checking in products
- Checking store requests to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed and/or shipped.
- Moving materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or field designated areas.
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Ensuring warehouse is accessible, organized and safe.
- Marking materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
- Assisting in counting and maintaining of physical inventory.
- Ensure stores and warehouse maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate and work with other team members
- High attention to detail; ability to juggle many priorities and manage execution
- Ability to lift/move materials up to the 60 pound range, climb ladders, stand and walk continuously for 8 hours per day
- Pull and prepare orders for pickup and delivery
- Load and unload inventory
- Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 21 to apply
- 3 years of inventory control experience in a “big box” retail company or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
- Demonstrated POS analysis and reporting experience
- Must have smart phone with ability to download apps
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Have high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid driver's license
- Have reliable transportation
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
