Responsibilities

Millennium Corporation is hiring a Sr. Systems Engineer to work a hybrid schedule in any of 3 locations: Langley Air Force Base (Virginia); Hanscom Air Force Base (Massachusetts); or Eglin Air Force Base (Florida). An active security clearance is required.

• Conduct reviews on the program, recommend alternative plans and improve systems engineering programs and processes.
• Develop and document All Domain Common Platform (ADCP)
• Manage and sustain the program’s technical baseline and perform system-level tests to ensure that subsystems and system performance are achieved by approved specifications.
• Prepare technical documents that define, specify, and recommend system and subsystem characteristics.
• Prepare reports and conduct technical presentations for planning and implementation using an application of engineering economy principles.
• Provide analysis of the following: Initial Capabilities Documents (ICD); Capability Development Documents (CDD); Capability Production Documents (CPD); Analysis of Alternatives (AoA); Military Utility Assessments; Concepts of Operation (CONOP); Technology Development Strategies; FCAs/PCAs; and Technology Standards Profiles
• Provide technical support and technical training to support initiatives such as acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, continued evolution, deployment/fielding and installation, and operations oversight
• Provide engineering support by conducting formal trade studies on engineering performance, cost-effectiveness, cost performance, life cycle cost, productivity, reliability, maintainability, risk, and schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience
• At least 5 years of experience supporting a military customer
• Prior experience in systems engineering, and application deployment across a variety of systems and hardware, including cloud deployment and virtualization
• Experience working with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles, verification & validation, technical data package development and sustainment, and configuration management.
• Some familiarity with DoD Acquisition processes including Technology Maturation, Risk Reduction, Engineering Manufacturing and Development, Production, and Deployment activities.

Business Development

• Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements

• 5% of travelling to Hanscom AFB
