Health Promotion Coordinator
Job Posting for Health Promotion Coordinator at MILLENNIUM HEALTH & FITNESS INC
Position located on Buckley AFB and contingent upon contract modification.
Typical Duties and Tasks:
- Serves as the site lead, developing, planning and coordinating implementation of all activities of the health promotion program at the installation level.
- Conduct wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, health fairs.
- Perform services such as finger sticks and other biometric measurements including height, weight, BMI/body composition, and blood pressure.
- Educate participants on health awareness and lifestyle modification.
- Provide orientation and training to new staff and communicate on new policies or changes in procedures.
- Ensure that programs are staffed according to the scope of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads.
- Evaluate programs and provide progress reports.
- Maintain current knowledge of health promotion topics to keep health education program material current. Coordinate and/or ensure supplies, equipment, and files are maintained in properly secured storage.
- Provide excellent written and oral communication skills when working with internal and external customers.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the contractor PM.
- Support Mobile worksite events as applicable.
