Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor use and misuse of prescription medications and illicit drugs. The testing is used by healthcare professionals to obtain objective information about patients recent use of prescription medications and/or illicit drugs and helps monitor the effectiveness of treatment plans. The Company provides clinicians with resources and clinically actionable information to support improved clinical decision-making as part of treatment for millions of Americans with chronic pain, mental illness, substance use disorders, and other health conditions. The Company also conducts real-time tracking of emerging drug use trends to help researchers, public health officials, and policymakers address the significant increase in drug overdose deaths.
General Summary
Responsible for managing department personnel in the management of security and safety, building operation, maintenance, custodial support and space assignments.
Essential Functions
The following are intended to be examples of the accountabilities for which the person in this position is responsible. - Manage, coordinate and supervise facility maintenance to include all critical systems such as, security, mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing process, projects and personnel including contractors
- Prioritize organizational needs, complaints and facilities work requests and tickets
- Manage and monitor custodial care for buildings, facilities and grounds
- Manage contracts for maintenance and repairs provided by outside vendors as required
- Support space planning and all related office and lab equipment care and logistics
- Supports budget preparation as directed for the facility
- Coordinate and attend monthly safety and security meetings
- Evaluates and adjusts energy expenditures
- Perform and support environmental hazard management and/or planning, as required
- Participate in planning and coordinating with all departments for operational needs and growth
- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, codes and specs
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
- Responds to emergency calls during regular and afterhours
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree or will consider experience in lieu of degree
- 2 years of experience in similar role
- 7 years within complex lab facilities, biopharma, biotechnology or medical device industry experience
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Clean driving record and a valid drivers license in the state in which you are employed.
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning systems
- Able to direct and supervise internal staff and outside vendors
- Able to prioritize workload and activities
