Position Summary
Experienced and motivated Quality Control Inspector needed for incoming, in- process, and final piece inspections. This person must be able to inspect for the overall quality and functionality of complicated equipment, instruments, products, or diversified parts and assemblies. Ability to read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies. Approving or rejecting raw materials with the respect to quality standards and record supplier performance. Checking output product using the appropriate methods.
Qualifications and Experience
- 1 years’ experience working in the quality control and quality assurance field in a manufacturing environment
- High School diploma or equivalence required
- Proven capability to interpret blueprints, process documentation, and GD&T
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
Responsibilities and Duties
- Inspects parts during all stages of processing
- Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specification
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions
- Discard or reject products, materials, and equipment not meeting specifications
- Helping out with other various tasks as directed
