Requirements and Qualifications
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Arrives to work in a clean, full uniform, as scheduled
· Maintains neat and organized work areas;
· Accomplishes end of shift side work; ensuring work areas are stocked and ready for the next scheduled FOH Team Member
· Maintains menu knowledge and follows recipes to uphold specifications and perfect presentation of every item served
Notifies Management immediately of any potential or real guest relations issue or Team Member problem
GUEST SERVICE
· Adheres to all service standards that create MAH “Raving Fans”
· Greets all Guests in a warm, friendly manner and acknowledges everyone that comes within five feet with a smile
· Provides the highest level of service by adhering to all Miller’s Ale House service standards
· Works directly with both BOH and FOH Team Members to ensure all Guest requests are accommodated quickly
· Maintains awareness throughout the shift and drives specified ticket times
· Ensures all food is served at the highest quality; hot food hot and cold food cold
SAFETY AND SANITATION
· Washes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift
· Serves all food and alcohol within accordance of company standards and state service requirements
· Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
· Works with Team Members to ensure that safety and sanitation protocol is being executed to company standard
TEAMWORK AND ATTITUDE
· Always communicates positively with FOH and BOH Team Members
· Maintains a high level of communication with other Team Members and Management to keep one another informed
· Supports other FOH functions as needed. 4 Wall Theory – everything within the 4 walls of the restaurant isevery
Team Member’s responsibility
· Sets up Team Members for success at shift change by ensuring side work and stations are properly stocked
SKILLS & EDUCATION
· Desire to provide exceptional service throughout the entire shift
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team
· Basic reading skills and the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to handle highly stressful situations
· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
FOH Team Members are expected to be able to perform the job functions with reasonable accommodation. Physical demands include:
· Remain standing for extended periods of time in a work area that has an elevated air temperature
· Reaching, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and lifting, up to 50 lbs., for short distances
· Solid communication skills in order to exchange accurate information to Team Members and Managers.
