Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the parts department, including procurement, inventory management and logistics. Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement and inventory of parts and accessories
- Ensure accurate and timely ordering of OEM parts
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with part inquiries and orders
- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of parts
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the parts department
- Manage the parts budget and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient supply chain management
- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools to identify part needs for repairs
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics
- Proven experience in procurement management within the automotive industry
- Excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with OEM parts ordering processes
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify part needs for repairs
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Proficient in inventory management software
