Job Posting for Aircraft Maintenance Planner - Now Hiring at Million Air Dallas
Position Summary
Responsible for all planning, coordination, and scheduling activities applicable to aircraft scheduled maintenance events while minimizing downtime and costs. Ensures all mandated maintenance compliances are achieved within time constraints in accordance with Scheduled Maintenance Requirements and FAA approved Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance programs.
Essential Functions
Adhere to General Work Requirements.
Creates, maintains, and publishes annual maintenance plan that meets operational needs while providing maximum aircraft availability.
Provides 7-day, 30-day, 60-day and annual maintenance forecasts to the Director of Maintenance and applicable management personnel as required.
Acts as a single point of contact for coordination to ensure aircraft requiring maintenance tasks are properly planned for and communicated with third party maintenance providers.
Ensure quick response time and delivery for any modified planning requirements due to additional work scope, engineering changes and/or miscalculated or shop and planning errors.
Runs and reviews maintenance due reports creates and distributes scheduled maintenance work order requirements for completion.
Ensures aircraft scheduled for out-sourced maintenance are positioned timely as required into third party vendors.
Performs additional tasks as specified in the General Maintenance Manual.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance

Minimum Qualifications
Three years or more experience in the technical area of aviation
Comprehensive knowledge of maintenance planning processes to include proposal analysis and invoice analysis.
Basic knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
Additional Desired Qualifications
A&P Certification
Previous experience in Part 121,135 air carrier or Part 91 corporate aircraft operations, or Part 145 Repair Station.
Physical Requirements
Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment and aircraft maintenance hangar environment.
Physical demands that may require a considerable amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (i.e., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) telephone.
Physical demands may include walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping.
May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling up to 25lbs.
