Your Role:
The cGMP Packaging Coordinator position is a key role within our GMP Operations Systems & Support team, which also includes Facility Support, Manufacturing Compliance, Manufacturing Training, Manufacturing Coordinators, and our GMP Packaging team. Expectations of the GMP Operations System & Support team is to ensure “Compliance” and “Readiness” within our GMP Manufacturing teams, ultimately enabling high manufacturing success.
Role Responsibilities:
- Communication and collaboration with various teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Materials Management, etc. to ensure the effective scheduling and execution of packaging team events.
- Perform all needed SAP transactions to support upcoming GMP PKG activities and shipments
- Coordinate and schedule packaging events, sampling needs, etc.
- Print labels and documentation needed for the upcoming events.
- Performs review of production documentation for compliance and/or effectiveness.
- Assist with adherence to the packaging schedule by ensuring that the necessary documentation, components, and support materials are available when required (ordering materials in advance and as needed).
- Act as a resource for the site’s continuous improvement culture by proposing ideas to reduce human error deviations and packaging improvements based on Lean Manufacturing principles
- Raw material and consumables management including but not limited to cycle counts, expired materials inventory, and reconciliation.
- Utilize Mango and TW to open and support any deviation and change controls as needed.
- Support GMP Shipping on TO generation and other packaging related items.
- Perform document issuance and reconciliation (controlled documents).
- Reports any significant activities to Supervisor in a timely manner.
- Assists the Supervisor with projects and other duties as assigned by Management.
- Support all audits as the subject matter expert.
- Must have the ability to simultaneously multi-task across multiple capabilities and functions and handle multiple competing priorities and requirements.
- Ability to suggest effective corrective/preventative action.
- May include other duties relevant to the role.
Physical Attributes:
- Lift, push, and/or pull up to 40 pounds as needed.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- 1 years working with ERP systems such as SAP.
- 1 years in a cGMP setting in a packaging/manufacturing or packaging/manufacturing planning or inventory analyst.
OR
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years in a cGMP setting in a manufacturing or manufacturing planning or inventory analyst.
- 2 years working with ERP systems such as SAP.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years working with ERP systems such as SAP.
- 3 years in a cGMP setting in a packaging/manufacturing or packaging/manufacturing planning or inventory analyst.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma concepts/Lean Manufacturing and process improvement.
- Strong Microsoft Office experience, operating procedure writing, technical report generation, product tracking and trending data analysis.
- Customer interaction skills.
