Your Role:
At MilliporeSigma, the Quality Technician will act as a team member supporting laboratory functions within the site through quality control testing, and sample analysis.
- Communicate testing to all critical departments in support of routine monitoring and ongoing projects.
- Provide on-time, high-quality results to meet manufacturing needs and promote/ensure a safe work environment to the team in the execution of their work duties.
- Test process and RO water for the entire plant for LAL and TOC, and report and investigate any alert and action level findings per requirements.
- Participate in the routine cleanroom monitoring at the site.
- Maintain laboratory supplies, media, and reagents inventory and coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Work in and out-of-cleanroom environments for sample production.
- A Shift: Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm
- B Shift: Monday – Friday 2:00pm – 10:30pm
- C Shift: Monday – Friday 10:00pm – 6:30am
- D Shift: Saturday, Sunday 1 Weekday 6:00am – 6:00pm
- E Shift: Saturday, Sunday 1 Weekday 6:00pm – 6:00am
Physical Attributes:
- Lift, push, and/or pull up to 50lbs
Who You Are:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years of experience in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, medical device, or related industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Life Science discipline or higher
- cGMP experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills with acute attention to details
- Familiar with quality systems like (Trackwise, OOS/ Deviations)
- Familiarity working with Laboratory Software (LIMs)
- Ability to manage time efficiently and multi-task
- Ability to read, follow SOPs and interpret technical data
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks including frequent hand to finger manipulations
- Ability to function as part of a Team.
