Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support professional to join our team. The IT Support role is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems.
Job Duties
Software Support
- Ability to research and provide answers to software issues.
- Installation and maintenance of different software's used.
- Create/generate reports for end users upon request.
- Provide direction, documentation and training on software processes.
Technical Support
- Provide technical support to end users via phone, email, or in person.
- ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware and network issues.
- Loading new equipment for end users
User Account Administration
- Create, modify, and terminate user accounts and access permissions.
- Reset passwords and assist users with account-related issues.
Project Management
- Ability to take on projects and coordinate the completion of them.
- Assistance on other projects the IT dept may have going on.
Requirements
- Degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree would be a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Prior experience and/or exposure to programming databases.
- Flexible work hours M-F with some weekend on-call availability.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues to resolution.
- Willingness to learn/research and take direction.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize issues.
- Must be detail oriented and organized.
- Ability to work independently as necessary
Would Be Great to Have
- Knowledge of iSeries operating system and/or RPG programming.
- Knowledge or experience with SQL.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
