*Work with lead or co-teacher in preparation for activities (getting out supplies, setting up stations, etc.) When necessary and numbers provide, the lead teacher may leave the children in your care to prepare/prep for later in the day and/or for the next day.
* Participate in circle time. Redirect children to the circle time activity. Be prepared to handle disruptive children during circle time. Take cues from your lead.
* Supervise children both in and out of the classroom.
* Assist children with their needs such as with coats shoes etc. and potty.
* Assist children with projects.
* Clean up after projects; wipe tables and benches with Clorox clean-up or disinfecting wipes
* Set tables and put out snacks and lunch; clean tables and benches with Clorox clean-up or disinfecting wipes, sweep under tables and benches.
* Keep room stocked with supplies
Cups, plates, napkins, paper towels,
Trash bags, toilet paper
High school diploma
CPR/First Aid certified (can work with you to obtain this prior to start date)
Working with children in a classroom setting preferred but not necessary.
