Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Complete comprehensive and precise residential home energy assessments in accordance with the Mass Save program
Educate homeowners in energy efficiency practices -both basic weatherization improvements as well as deeper energy saving measures
Promote the successful completion of energy efficiency improvements and install Instant Savings Measures such as light bulbs, power strips, showerheads, aerators, and thermostats at the time of the assessment
Conduct thorough energy assessments in residential homes including entering and assessing attics, basements, and crawl spaces
Conduct combustion safety testing and infrared scanning to evaluate existing conditions and recommend energy efficiency improvements
Complete detailed and accurate data collection and measurements
Interact with homeowners and tenants, answering questions regarding energy efficiency and recommended next steps
Promote and encourage adoption of energy saving measures recommended based on the home energy assessment, including weatherization, windows, solar, and HVAC improvements

Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times

Must be able to work on ladders, roofs, confined spaces and heights up to 40′
Must be on-time daily, prepared, and ready to work
Timely completion and accuracy of all work
Working closely and harmoniously with other employees and be a team player
Performing and documenting complete operational checks for all equipment
Adherence to safety and health regulations as required by OSHA, and all company policies
Possession of a valid Driver's License
Successful completion of pre-employment background screen and drug test
Ability to perform overtime and/or on call duties as required
Qualifications
OSHA10
Experience in the Mass Save Program or other energy programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills
