Accounts Payable Manager-Wyckoff Farms

Accounts Payable Manager will provide hands-on leadership and oversight to a multi-entity accounts payable department. Reporting directly to the Accounting Director, the Accounts Payable Manager will work closely with the Accounts Payable team and Division Managers to ensure accurate and timely processing of Accounts Payable.

• Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to meet strict deadlines and to multitask between various projects.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable functions, including the flow of transactions and their effects on the general ledger and department budgets

Responsibilities
• Daily entry and maintenance of accounts payable records to ensure accuracy and timeliness of processing and payment
• Management and oversight of Accounts Payable clerks to ensure efficient operation and adherence to Company policies and internal controls
• Managing vendor relationships and responding to inquiries from vendors and Division Managers
• Provide support for month-end and year-end closing processes, and coordinate necessary year-end projects (i.e. 1099 reporting)
• Assist with special projects, reporting and analysis as needed.

Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• 4 years of overall combined Accounts Payable experience required
• 1 year of managerial experience preferred
• General knowledge of accounting processes and procedures
• Prior experience with agriculture and/or food processing operations a plus

• Tolerance for long, varied hours, driven by seasonal demands.
• Sitting for long periods
• Occasional stooping and bending

Experience:
• Managerial: 1 year (Preferred)
• Accounts Payable: 4 years (Required)
