Description
- Plans and coordinates all material fulfillment from offsite warehouse and trailer yard to point of use storage
- Manages inventory levels of assigned areas to support production, optimize warehouse space and system accuracy
- Highly visible on the floor to ensure problems with materials are addressed and prevent production impacts
- Communicates daily with offsite warehouse on material required to be delivered
- Coordinates with material handlers and receiving to ensure material is delivered to designated locations
- Works with tactical buyer on necessary expedites from suppliers
- Performs other duties assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience with material flow, inventory control, material planning or logistics experience preferred
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and ERP systems required ( XA)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner

- Adjusting or moving objects up to 30 pounds in all directions
- Communication with others to exchange information
- Repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands and/or fingers
- Assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned
