Milton Town School District seeks a dynamic, detail-oriented Budget Administrative Assistant for our PreK-8 Offices. Responsible for supporting the needs of the Office of the Principals. This position is a full-time, year-round 40hr workweek schedule with full eligible benefits. Minimum hourly rate: $16.15 more depending on education degree and experience.
To start immediately.Candidates should have an understanding of school district operations and have strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively, know financial processes, and have excellent organizational and analytical skills to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and legal compliance. Position Responsibilities 1.Support financial management, including purchasing, timesheets, and documentation2.Working with teachers to organize field trips, book buses, and secure funding for field trips.3. Managing student activity accounts, making deposits, collecting money from teachers4.Tracking MES/MMS spending and budget use5.Managing Student Information Systems (PowerSchool)6.Data entry and State reporting responsibilities 7.Creating and distributing a monthly newsletter 8.Assist in managing MES Social Media accounts 9.Communicate effectively with all stakeholders as applicable.10.Implement district policies; follow school practices/procedures.11.Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.12.Model professional behavior at all times.13.Other duties as assigned by the Principal.
