Fiscal Assistant 2 – District Attorney’s Office
Hourly Pay Rate: $17.34 - $26.01

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Financial Manager, perform various purchasing and administrative functions.
Job Responsibilities:
Receive and distribute items that are purchased for the District Attorney's Office. Also create a receiver in the Infor system.
Order and maintain inventory of office supplies for the District Attorney's Office. Occasionally, distribute special ordered items to specific staff; otherwise, inventory is maintained in the mailroom and vault in SB405.
Enter discovery charges into QuickBooks for data and material that is sent to defense attorneys on a daily basis. On a quarterly basis, prepare and send out invoices to defense attorneys.
Submit requests to the House of Correction Print Shop for various documents and brochures needed for the District Attorney's Office. Distribute items to staff and/or in the vault.
Communicating with staff and people outside of the office in a professional, tactful, and complete manner to explain the purpose of the email or phone call.
Other duties that have not been defined but are needed for the department to function efficiently.
Minimum Requirements:
Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent required.
Current Resident of the State of Wisconsin.
At least One (1) year of experience with Bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and/or Procurement.
Proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word and Excel.
Proficiency and knowledge of QuickBooks.
Preferred: Associate degree in bookkeeping, and/or courses taken in bookkeeping/accounts payable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, methods and practices. Knowledge of office business practices and office equipment used in bookkeeping work. Knowledge of banking methods, practices and procedures. Skilled in the operation of a calculator and personal computer, cash handling skills, mathematical skills and the ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others. The ability to Lift/Carry up to 20lbs and push/pull up to 30lbs.
