Monday - Friday day shift
On call rotation
Key Responsibilities of a Wound Care Nurse:
- Assessing and monitoring wounds.
- Cleaning and bandaging wounds.
- Collaborating with the patient care team to determine necessary treatments or care adjustments.
- Educating patients and caregivers on wound care, infection prevention, and pressure ulcer management.
- Writing orders to promote wound healing and prevent skin breakdown.
Requirements for Wound Care Nurse:
- Valid LPN/RN Nursing License in the State of Georgia.
- Current CPR certification.
