Mind Computing is seeking a highly talented Requirements Analyst who will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the clarity and completeness of business requirements. In this dynamic and Agile environment, you will work with business customers to develop functional and non-functional IT requirements and use cases. This role includes setting up the requirements elicitation, documentation, and publishing process for the business, and transitioning the requirements package to appropriate IT services. You will serve as a key communicator between the Business, Strategy, and Solutioning teams, ensuring that the business needs are accurately captured and transitioned to the appropriate product development groups.

The candidate must reside within the continental United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Elicitation & Documentation:
    • Assist Business Customers in identifying business needs and gaps (IT and non-IT) to enhance business processes and accomplish goals.
    • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for each approved work effort.
    • Develop detailed elicitation processes, including the creation of user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and non-functional requirements.
    • Create Business Process Models using Business Process Model Notation (BPMN) for ‘As-Is’ and ‘To-Be’ process models.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Manage changes to requirements by maintaining a clear and detailed record of modifications and conducting impact analysis.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between Business stakeholders and product teams to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.
  • Documentation & Quality Assurance:
    • Maintain and manage requirements documentation in platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or similar applications.
    • Coordinate with government functional proponents to understand user challenges and document the application’s acceptance criteria.
    • Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure accuracy and consistency in both existing and new requirements documentation.
Qualifications

  • Mandatory:
    • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
    • Expertise in business requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, and methodology development.
    • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Salesforce, and Jira.
    • Ability to work independently with proven project management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Preferred:
      • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies.
      • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) from IIBA.
