Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) - Telehealth
MindCare Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role you will provide primary virtual healthcare services to patients of all ages within a behavioral health inpatient facility. The Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, and providing preventative care and treatment plans.
Compensation: $110,000 - $118,000 annually
Job Location: Telehealth
Available Shifts: 8am-5pm; 7 days on/7 days off (OR) M-F - weekends available

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and inmate needs
- Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects
- Respond to medical emergencies within the facility, providing stabilization and care as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including mental health professionals and correctional staff, to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure timely and thorough documentation of all assessments and interventions ensuring all practices adhere to standards set by the American Nurses Association (ANA)
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted NP license in the state of Ohio (OH)
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in primary care, family practice or urgent care settings.
- Active and unrestricted DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) (We will help obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
