The Opportunity
Mindful Care is seeking a New York state-licensed master’s degree level Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide psychotherapy via telehealth. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can work in an active environment. Flexibility, ability to collaborate on a motivated team, excellent work ethic, and strong clinical skills are needed.
Responsibilities
- Champion the Mindful Care brand to people for their psychiatric needs and initiate relationships with referral sources within the market
- Uphold HIPAA, state and federal confidentiality laws
- Document person session notes congruently in EHR
- Conduct occasional Biopsychosocial Assessments
- Provide therapy sessions in either individual or group settings
- Provide therapy services via telehealth
- Participate in monthly supervision with the clinical team
- Participate in orientation and training of new staff
- Following strict ethical and clinical guidelines as stated by the NASW
- Practice a person-first mentality
- Coordinate the collaboration of care for persons between Therapeutic services and Psychiatric services
- Provide group coverage for colleagues on an as needed basis
- Provide clinical supervision to master's Level Social Workers as needed
Candidate Profile
- A master’s degree and valid clinical license to practice in assigned state
- Insurance-eligible through CMS
- Strong communication, patient care, and leadership skills
- Ability to stay organized, multi-task, and time-manage
- Operate autonomously and with other team members
- Desire to work with diverse populations
- LGBTQ ally, bilingual, and American Sign Language (ASL) are a plus
Position Type & Schedule
- Type: Regular Full-time, 4 days, 10 hour shifts
- Operating Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 am ET - 8:00 pm ET; variable
- Location Type: Hybrid
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FTO, and company holidays to name a few. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
