Rapid Diagnostics (formerly Alere) is part of Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies.  The position of Salesforce Tech Lead Developer/Admin is within our Acelis Business Unit located at Livermore, CA.  In this role, you will be working on salesforce Health Cloud solution development and implementation.

 

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible  for developing technical solutions using salesforce Health Cloud platform. List of responsibilities include:

  • Perform Data Mapping and  Design activities to resolve integrations with Salesforce and other systems
  • Able to analyze work for non-sfdc applications and Microsoft SQL server application and distribute work with other team members.
  • Implement and maintain Salesforce customizations including custom fields, objects, layouts, workflows, process builder and validation rules.
  • Configures Salesforce.com custom fields, page layouts, email templates, etc.
  • Complete regular internal system audits, monitor new Salesforce release features and functionality, communicates impact of changes and provides recommendations for process improvements.
  • Manage Salesforce data feeds and other integrations
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests. Work with Management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities
  • Developing and implementing scheduled jobs for Salesforce integration scenarios.
  • Involvement in periodic data cleansing, security setup and workflow updates.
  • Using sandbox mode for testing and migrating code to the production instance in iterations.
  • Keeps SME informed of progress/issues/status
  • Interaction with Salesforce.com premium tech support team
  • Handle all aspects of Salesforce.com user administration including access management, permission sets, role assignments, data uploads, data backups, etc.
  • Support and drive projects, including documentation of business requirements, solution and technical design, test plan design and coordination of testing with business users.
  • Provide first-level support to the field, including issue identification, and resolution/escalation
  • Maintain the integrity of services integrated with our Sales and Health Cloud SF instance including proprietary in-house systems and external integrations.
  • Respond to team members’ requests related to delivered functionality behavior, how-to questions, and feature activation / tuning.
  • Drive testing and validation of Salesforce configuration and development. Test and QA of enhancements/changes to SFDC deployment using SF.com sandbox.
  • Partner with various internal teams to assist in solving technical problems or issues when necessary.
  • Provide assistance and/or take ownership of escalated or complex issues or problems and follow through to resolution.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support.

 

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience with Salesforce.com health Cloud design, development and configuration
  • 5 years of experience with beginning to end Salesforce.com implementations, integrations and enhancement projects
  • Expert in Lightning, Apex, Visual Force, SOQL/SOSL, and JavaScript
  • Experienced with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API
  • Experienced with Web UI frameworks in Visualforce pages or Lightning components.
  • Experienced with data management and data migration principles and application
  • Best Practices understanding on Coding Standards, Deployment and Governor limit
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, Continuous integration and delivery practices
  • Must to have Salesforce Developer and Admin Certifications (DEV401 and DEV201). Preferred to have Salesforce Service cloud certification.
  • BS/BA Degree or equivalent combination of technical certifications and experience.
  • Solid understanding of CRM development, Health Cloud Development, CTI, Case Management and the Technologies that support these. Strong knowledge of SFDC Service and support
  • Proficiency in programming using Salesforce.com, Force.com, Java, JavaScript, SQL, SOQL, Force.com IDE, Web Services, and XML and their use in the development of CRM solutions
  • Strong practical deployment knowledge of Visual Force, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX and SOAP/REST Web services, SOQL, API, AppExchange deployment
  • Ability to develop custom solutions, generate code and create objects within the Salesforce platform based on input from design documents
  • Proficient in security and sharing rules at object, field and record level
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with experience opening and managing Salesforce.com bugs Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Ability to act as a Salesforce Administrator and handle all basic administrator functions including user account maintenance, reports and dashboards, workflows and other routine tasks.
