Musical Director needed for a college production of “Something Rotten” at Colorado School of Mines. The director must attend evening/weekend rehearsals on campus in Golden from January-March with auditions in late November. Schedule will be set based on cast & director’s availability.
Our ideal Musical Director candidate is immensely flexible and prepared for a dynamic, collaborative environment. These qualities are especially important as our director will be working closely with student actors, crew, and designers throughout the creative process. We are looking for a Musical Director with a clear vision, who is passionate about ensemble work, and is ready and willing to work with actors with a variety of skill levels.

Rehearsal Schedule: About 3 months, auditions will be held from Nov. 27th - Dec. 1st. Rehearsals will start the week of Jan. 8th when the normal school calendar resumes.
Performance Dates: March 29th, 30th, and 31st, 2024
Rate: $3000 - $4500, negotiable and subject to Mines administrative approval and contract conditions
A certificate of insurance (COI) is required. We will reimburse you if you need to purchase one.
