Job Purpose:
To perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Verify, receive and put away incoming stock
· Pull, pack, stage and ship outgoing orders and transfers
· Assist customers with orders, as needed
· Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
· Operate handheld scanners to receive, move and track inventory in and out of the facility
· Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle count and physical inventory
· Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment
· Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs
· Operate delivery truck for customer and branch orders, as needed
· Other duties as assigned
· Maintain regular and punctual attendance
· Work overtime as assigned
· Work cooperatively with others
· Comply with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· 1 year forklift experience preferred
· 1 year warehouse experience preferred
· 1 year customer service experience preferred
· Clear driving record preferred
· Proficient in computer and inventory systems, preferred
Other Information:
· Participate in after-hours Training classes
· May be asked to participate in on-call duties, as needed
