Position Summary:

Performs electrical testing activities on the robot-integrated work cells as per documented procedures.

Operate various automated and semi-automated machinery in production environments. 

Job Function:

  • Job Specific
    • Perform automated testing of electronic components.
    • Know the mechanical functions and control software of automated machinery.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve test setups and machine mechanical setup issues.
    • Provide input for improvements and increasing efficiencies.
  • Department Specific
    • Work in accordance with all company procedures.
    • Perform ESD check.
    • Responsible for maintenance of tools, test equipment, and test accessories.
    • Check equipment calibration status.
    • Responsible for keeping the work area neat and clean.
    • Any other job-related activity as assigned by the team leader/supervisor/manager.

Supervisory Responsibilities (list if applicable):

  • Assists supervisor and team leader as determined by Department lead.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma/GED plus 2 years related experience in machine operation and/or automation.
  • Experience in basic computer operations in Windows.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a machine operator or automation.
  • Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, hex keys, wrenches, tweezers etc.
  • Teamwork-oriented: Share responsibilities and assist other Robotic operators.
  • Detail-oriented: Follow all applicable procedures.
  • Able to clearly communicate in English verbally and in written form with other Robotic Test members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient and highly productive.
  • Capable of scheduling work in his/her work area.
  • Capable of performing daily functions with minimal supervision.
  • Takes ownership of work assigned.
Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit, and use their hands to operate a computer keyboard. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
