Position Summary:
The Pre-Encap Inspection Team Leader is in charge of ensuring the daily work activities for the pre-encap inspection department are performed in accordance with all applicable procedures.
Salary Range: $24.40 - $36.60 per hour
Job Function:
- To work in accordance with all company procedures.
- Promote ISO9000, as 9100 and ISO 14000 awareness and compliance.
- Ensure that all units meet Mini-Circuits quality standards.
- Monitor daily activities in accordance with the team leader checklist D4-C036.
- Receive and distribute work among the members.
- Inspect and evaluate engineering and production samples.
- Ensure company procedures and policies are followed and enforced.
- Responsible to keep work area neat and clean.
- Prevents the occurrence and reoccurrence of any problem by feeding back to the assemblers with information and proper documentation. (Including photos, scar)
- To recommend changes in drawings and other departmental documents.
- To suggest changes in design if required.
- To make suggestions for solving quality problems.
- Responsible for maintenance and care of tools and equipment used.
- Provide on the job training and take leadership.
- Monitor, review and publish department KPIs.
- Identify manpower staffing requirements for their teams.
- Approve engineering and productions samples.
- Signing off the Q.C. sheet.
- Stop run in progress when there is a problem & add QA alert.
Supervisory Responsibilities (list if applicable):
- Approve “Planned Absence from Work” form (D4-HP12) for team members.
- Complete department member’s performance reviews as and when required.
- Verify effectiveness of member training.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED. 2 years’ experience in pre-encap inspection or outside related experience.
- Email proficiency with internal team and overseas daughter companies
- Must be able to complete flow charts.
- Preferred to have completed course in supervisory training.
- Use of a microscope, other tools, fixtures, and equipment related to department procedures.
- Ability to inspect all units.
- Ability to work with MIL-STDS and IPC-STDS.
- Ability to distinguish colors in accordance with Ishihara test for color blindness.
