Additionally, this position will work closely with Infection Prevention to maintain a safe environment for the employees and patients of Minneola Healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule, order, and manage staff members.
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks in assigned areas of Minneola Healthcare facilities, including patient rooms, common areas, offices, and restrooms.
- Adhere to established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to efficiently remove dirt, dust, and debris from surfaces.
- Assist with laundry operations by sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, bedding, towels, and other items according to organizational standards.
- Ensure that laundry equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and coordinate efforts to meet cleaning and laundry needs effectively.
- Follow infection control guidelines and protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and maintain a safe environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry operations preferred but not required.
