Summary: The MPRB's Finance Department is accepting applications for a detail oriented Accounting Technician, who will be responsible for technical support to professional accounting staff, and other professional MPRB staff by performing accounting, budget, procurement, project costing and other related financial work. Interfaces and provides customer service support to customers, vendors, employees and supervisors daily to resolve accounting issues. Provide accounting services that meet the park and recreation needs of diverse communities and ensure race equity, gender inclusion and universal access.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Increasingly responsible experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including working with automated financialsystems and analyzing financial reports and accounting documents to verify accuracy. At least three (3) years.
An equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be considered.
