What are the responsibilities and job description for the GIS Specialist I position at Minnesota City Jobs?

General Duties:
Will work with Council divisions to develop new and innovative GIS applications and databases.   Will lead GIS projects; create cartographic products and reports, perform spatial analyses and processing tasks; develop and maintain GIS datasets, utilize GIS programming techniques; and collaborate with other internal and external GIS professionals to efficiently deliver GIS products, and applications and services.  
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Cartography, Geography, or closely related field AND one (1) year of GIS experience using ArcGIS. OR Associate degree AND three (3) years of experience.
