Residential Program Administrator

Minnesota Specialty Health System (MSHS) in Brainerd is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team as Residential Program Administrator. The Residential Program Administrator is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the inpatient treatment program. As an Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) facility, MSHS focuses on rehabilitative education, building interpersonal skills, and developing community engagement skills to increase each client's independence and self-management of their illness, behavior, and emotion.

Job duties include:

• Plan, organize, coordinate, direct and evaluate the administrative, patient care, clinical and clinical support functions of the inpatient treatment program to ensure services are delivered efficiently and effectively
• Oversee the provision of cost effective and quality care and treatment to those who have been civilly committed
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with legislators, health care agencies and other public officials
• Initiate, approve, maintain and enforce policies and procedures for patient care and treatment that will ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local rules, regulations and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3 years of healthcare administration or management experience. Experience must include:
• An ability to identify and cultivate talent, engender mutual respect, promote a culture of high performance and teamwork, and prioritize professional development; resulting in engaged staff and a healthy, collaborative environment
• Demonstration of strong business acumen, a sophisticated knowledge of healthcare, and experience in making complex and difficult decisions
• Experience leading in a healthcare regulated facility (such as The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), etc.)
• Experience with budget management

• Meet the requirements for a Mental Health Practitioner as defined in MN Statute 245I.04, subdivision 4

Pay: $86,673.00 - $124,695.00 per year
