Responsibilities:
- Monitors, mentors, trains and schedules Health Unit Coordinators to ensure continuity and consistency to all the nursing units.
- Create and track HealthDrive schedules for audiology, vision and podiatry.
- Conduct audits for transcription of physician orders as well as chart audits.
- Provide assistance and support to the Health Information department.
Qualifications:
- HUC certification preferred.
- 2 years HUC/health records experience
- Ability and desire to oversee people; streamline and organize tasks; strong customer service skills.
- Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.
