Minnesota Valley Action Council has an opening for

Head Start Home Visitor – Mapleton

Responsible for providing Head Start Home Base services to enrolled participants. Direct services include family services, education, health, mental health, and nutrition services. Provide referrals and connect families to community resources. Conduct outreach and recruitment and provide a weekly Home Visit to families. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners, co-workers, and supervisors. Bilingual beneficial. A degree in early childhood, family services or related degree is preferred. This position requires strong computer, communication, and organizational skills. Experience working with children and/or families is required. 35 hours/week. $19.93/hour with a degree or $19.18/hour with no degree. In area travel required for position.
