We are currently accepting applications for a full or part time Sales Associate Position!
Applicants must be friendly, outgoing, have an excellent work ethic, and have DAYTIME with WEEKEND availability.
SALES ASSOCIATE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Will report directly to the store manager and be responsible for all store operations when manager or owner is absent.
- Must be able to follow commands and to-do lists.
- Be knowledgeable of store policies and willing to enforce them.
- Handle cash transactions.
- Sell and suggest store promotions and products to customers.
- Engage the customer in a fun and pleasant experience in our store.
- Must be knowledgeable about all product offerings; and be able to discuss products and promotions with customers accurately.
- Keep store clean, organized, and stocked at all times.
- Assist customers in an enthusiastic and professional manner at all times, in person/over phone.
- Assist cook with various responsibilities including prepping of store-made products.
- Must be able to count and handle cash accurately while processing customer transactions.
- Must come prepared to work for every shift dressed in the appropriate uniform, must practice good hygiene, and must be clean-cut at all times.
- Cannot wear any scented lotions, perfumes, colognes, etc. (Chocolate absorbs odors.)
- Must have excellent communication skills when greeting and serving customers.
- Will be responsible for sampling every customer that walks in the door, whether they make a purchase or not.
- Must be willing to have fun and to work hard at all times.
- Must be honest with owners and co-workers of RMCF.
- Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
- Must be able to provide transportation to and from work.
- Must be willing to submit to random drug tests while employed with RMCF.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Retail sales experience required.
- Physical ability to be on the sales floor for extended periods of time, and to move and handle merchandise and fixtures throughout the store which may entail lifting and perform all functions as set forth above.
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays, based on business needs (if applicable).
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
