Job Type: Full-time

Shift Time: 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Operator to join our team. This position requires working 12-hour shifts, either days or nights, with responsibilities centered around inspecting, maintaining, and managing seed crops. If you have a background in agriculture production and possess strong operational skills, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and maintain seed crops to ensure optimal quality and yield.
• Support seed inventory management at the plant.
• Participate in the harvesting and packaging of seeds.
• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently, ensuring the highest standards of seed quality.
• Work independently or as part of a team, adapting to changing conditions and anticipating operational needs.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of agriculture production and production plant operations.
• Ability to safely perform duties in a timely fashion while maintaining seed quality.
• Proficiency in operating a computer.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Physical ability to use stairs, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform manual labor tasks.
• Must be able to work on-site and drive to the location from any distance.
• Must pass a drug and background screening.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in agricultural production or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
