What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Supervisor position at Mint House?
THE ROLE
Housekeeping is the backbone to our success and we rely on our team to keep Mint House running smoothly. As a Full Time Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be instrumental in creating a seamless experience for our guests and ensuring quality and cleanliness standards are upheld consistently. This role requires a flexible schedule and open to working weekends and holidays as directed by the Market Lead. Mint House properties are tech-forwarded and use of a mobile device is required to be successful in the role.
AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL
- Responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned apartments or areas according to Mint House standards and procedures, including: making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, removal of trash/recycle removal, cleaning kitchens, refrigerators, microwaves and running dishes, glasses and flatware through dishwasher
- Restock apartments with various bathroom, kitchen, and apartment items and branded Mint House collateral
- Ensure all guest areas and apartments are cared for and inspected to verify appliances and amenities are clean and in working order for our guests
- Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
- Notify Supervisor/Market Lead of any damages, deficits and disturbances on Mint House property
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Report, turn in, and log all lost and found items according to established procedures
- Resolve reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Travel to properties distributed throughout the market and perform cleaning tasks as assigned
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Previous housekeeping experience in a similar environment or has knowledge of a wide variety of cleaning techniques and methods to embrace our cleanliness program
- Experience managing a team; building out schedules and daily housekeeping board
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems
- Flexible schedule to work multiple shifts and assist with staffing coverage in the instance of call-outs
- Multitasker; well organized and have significant attention to detail.
- Ability to to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up 25 pounds without assistance and able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Honest, reliable, able to work effectivity both independently and with a team
- Open to working holidays and weekends; travel to locations distributed throughout the market
- This role requires regular access to reliable transportation on a daily basis when working
