Warehouse Associate

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain.

Position Overview: As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our company. You will be responsible for various tasks related to receiving, organizing, and shipping clothing products. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the overall success of our company.

Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments of clothing products, verifying accuracy against purchase orders. Inspect products for quality, ensuring they meet our standards and specifications. Accurately record received quantities and update inventory management systems.

Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring products are properly labeled, tagged, and stored. Conduct regular stock counts and assist in inventory reconciliation. Identify and report any discrepancies or damaged items to the appropriate personnel.

Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack clothing products for customer orders based on order sheets. Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment to meet shipping deadlines. Prepare shipping labels and documentation and arrange shipments with logistics providers.

Warehouse Organization and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. Arrange products systematically to optimize space utilization and ease of retrieval. Assist in maintaining warehouse equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.

Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the sales and customer service departments, to ensure smooth order processing and resolve any issues that arise. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory levels, product availability, and any potential concerns.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience working in a warehouse or similar environment, preferably in the ecommerce industry.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or objects (up to 50 lbs.) and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the ecommerce industry or with clothing products.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning and inventory management software.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to warehouse operations.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
