Join our team at a leading provider of metal and plastic coatings, located in Mentor, Ohio. With over 30 years of excellence in the industry, they specialize in a range of high-quality coating services. They are currently seeking an Operations Assistant to support their team and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of their operations. Starting pay is $18/hr with a raise when hired on.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Manage office work and attend to walk-in clients with professionalism.
- Support various tasks including light assembly, labeling, packaging, and shipping.
- Engage in custom kitting and perform quality checks for specialty coatings.
- Operate and maintain office equipment, proficiently using Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Manage communications and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Handle additional duties which may include driving a towmotor and supporting operational tasks to alleviate the workload from the general manager.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an administrative or operational support role.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma required; further education or certification in Office Management is a plus.
- Towmotor experience is beneficial but not required.
