What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Support Agent position at Mirador Outdoor?

A growing patio furniture company is looking for a self-motivated individual to fill a part-time customer service agent position starting immediately. Ideal candidate needs to be organized, detailed, reliable, has strong work ethic, able to work under pressure and multi-task.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Answer phone calls and emails
  • Respond to customer’s inquiries and independently resolves problems
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude in handling calls professionally at all times
  • Take phone orders and processes payment transactions using QuickBooks
  • Input orders and follow up with existing orders
  • Help maintain office environment clean and organized
  • Perform various other administrative tasks such as data entry, scanning documents, and maintaining files.

Requirements:

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently with minimal supervision
  • Extremely reliable, detailed oriented and personable
  • Minimum one year of customer service/admin experience
  • Good computer skills
  • QuickBooks experience is a plus
  • Able to easily absorb product knowledge to assist customers with their product questions

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift:

  • 5 to 6 hour shift
  • Can offer 8am-2pm or 11am-4:30pm. If one of these shifts does not align, we are willing to work with you.

Work setting:

  • In-person

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
